About European Autohaus
European Autohaus is one of the auto repair shops listed in Lutz, Florida. The business is registered at 1105 E Bearss Ave, Lutz, FL 33549; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (813) 615-9444. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, europeanautohausinc.com.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 371 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Lutz.
Lutz is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lutz follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had such a great experience with European Autohaus. Kwon was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive, and they kept me updated every step of the way. There was a slight delay due to a parts issue, but they communicated it clearly and never left me wondering what was going on. They even went out of their way to make sure I got my Mercedes back as quickly as possible. Since getting it back, I haven't had a single issue. Their customer service and commitment to making things right really stood out. I highly recommend them and will definitely return for any future automotive needs!

0 stars if I could. I left my car at European Autohaus for almost 3 weeks and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a shop. There was basically zero communication the entire time. I had to keep calling for updates, and every time I got the same answer: “we’ll look into it and get back to you”… which never happened. David was my point of contact, but nothing was ever followed through. No clear diagnosis, no timeline, no accountability. After waiting all this time, I’m now forced to tow my car to a Mercedes dealer because nothing was resolved. On top of that, I had to pay $195 just to get my car released, which they called a “diagnostic fee” — even though I never received any real answers or results. What’s even more frustrating is that I’m not the only one. There are multiple similar reviews saying the same thing: poor communication, long delays, and no resolution. Complete waste of time and money. I do NOT recommend this place.

I would definitely recommend this auto shop. In addition to being extremely fair priced, they were professional, communicative, honest, and quick with their turn around time on our repairs. Kwon was extremely helpful.

Called a few shops in the local area based on reviews first. Requested a estimate and it was sent within a reasonable amount of time. Called several others and they were way more. Only one was cheaper and never asked for my VIN so I didn't feel like taking a risk and pay to do it over if they cut corners. This place provided the service requested with a accurate estimate. I wasn't able to get my vehicle tell after 4pm which was a little excessive but I am happy with the service. I still need to see how well the brakes grab since it's a high end Audi. So far so good though. I would definitely come back for service when I am in town.
